Organise PDF pages without uploading

Rearrange, rotate and delete pages with the buttons under each page, or drag pages on a computer. Your file never leaves this tab, so it’s safe for contracts, payslips and ID scans.

      How to organise PDF pages

      1. Choose your PDF. Click the box above and pick the file. Every page appears as a thumbnail in this tab; nothing is sent anywhere.
      2. Arrange the pages. Under each page, the arrows move it earlier or later, the curved arrows rotate it, and the cross deletes it. On a computer you can also drag a page onto another spot.
      3. Save and download. Press Save PDF to build the new file, then download it. Reset puts everything back as it was.

      Good to know

      • Your original isn’t changed. The tool builds a new PDF, so the file on your device stays as it was.
      • Pages are copied, not redrawn. Text stays selectable and searchable, and quality is unchanged.
      • Rotation is in quarter turns. Each press turns a page 90 degrees, added to any rotation it already had.
      • Password-protected PDFs won’t open. The tool says so. Remove the password with Unlock PDF first.

      Your PDF stays on your device

      Most online PDF editors upload your file to their servers. Here, the thumbnails are drawn and the new PDF is built inside this browser tab, using the open-source PDF.js and pdf-lib libraries.

      The page’s security policy tells your browser to block uploads, so the document can’t leave your device even by accident. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, watch the Network tab, and organise a file. How InTheTab works

      Questions

      Is it safe to edit a confidential PDF here?

      Yes. The file is read and rebuilt by your own browser and is never uploaded. We never get your files or text: the site has no accounts, and its only analytics, Google Analytics, counts visits without ever seeing what you add here.

      How do I delete pages from a PDF?

      Press the cross under each page you don’t want, then Save PDF. The count above the pages shows how many you’re keeping. At least one page has to stay.

      Does it work on a phone?

      Yes. Dragging is for computers, but the buttons under each page do the same job on a touch screen.

      Do I need to install anything or sign up?

      No. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iPhone. It’s free, there’s no sign-up and no watermark is added.
